Magnet AXIOM 6.5: Enhancing Your Analytical Tools
Magnet AXIOM 6.5 is now available with new enhancements for Timeline and Media Explorer so you can uncover and manage your case evidence with ease.
In addition to the Timeline performance enhancements we added with AXIOM 6.4, we are improving your evidence view with a multi-artifact view for Timeline. Media Explorer is also being upgraded with two new commonly requested features: the ability to undo grading and removing media once it’s categorized.

The New Multi-Artifact View for Timeline
With AXIOM 6.5, you will be able to able to uncover more relevant information faster with Timeline.
Introducing the new multi-artifact view, which automatically highlights the top three most relevant elements of data relative to the artifact highlighted.
In this view, Timeline highlights the Date/Time, Timeline Category, and Artifact, and then it also highlights the Key Detail for that artifact, a supporting detail, and an additional detail.
The information surfaced will be optimized relative to the artifact being displayed. For some chat artifacts, for example, the key detail may be the senders ID, the supporting detail may be the receivers ID, and then the additional detail could be the message itself. Whereas for system artifacts, the key, supporting, and additional details could be date created, date modified, and date last accessed.
With this new view, Timeline makes understanding what happened during a specific time for your case that much easier.

More Media Explorer Grading Capabilities
With AXIOM 6.5, we’ve enhanced the grading capabilities of Media Explorer by introducing two new community requested features: the ability to undo grading and removing graded media from view.
We are also introducing the ability to undo grading, so that if the wrong image is accidently graded, or the wrong grading has been applied to an image. Overall, you will now have more options to manage images and your grading workflow.
