Quickly Seeing Where Digital Artifacts Originate: AXIOM Map Details Card

Swiftly getting a sense of where a photo was taken, a phone call was made, or a chat was sent — and how that location relates to your crime scene — is easy in Magnet AXIOM.

The map details card allows you to select artifacts of interest in AXIOM’s analytical tools, such as Media Explorer, Connections, and Timeline. If there is geolocation data for that artifact, it will be plotted on a map in the preview pane of AXIOM.

Having the details card in the preview pane lets you get a quick sense of where an artifact originates without having to switch screens between the world map and the artifact explorer. But to plot the origination points of multiple artifacts, the world map provides a more in-depth and comprehensive view of case data.
