Hi, this is Jessica Hyde and I wanted to share some details about an exciting event we have planned for the Magnet Summit on April 25: Mentorship Day!
I am really looking forward to this event, which will feature special presentations, a fascinating panel discussion, and limited 1:1 mentorship meetings.
Hear From Three DFIR Mentors in a Live Panel
For this special day, we have lined up an incredible panel who will talk about the importance of mentorship in DFIR.
I am honored to be hosting and moderating a panel consisting of three incredible mentors, Mitch Kajzer, Director, St. Joseph County Cyber Crimes Unit, Julie Lewis, President, CEO and Founder of Digital Mountain, and Robert Duhart, VP, Deputy CISO and CISO eCommerce at Walmart. It is a complete and total honor to get to participate in this interactive live session with three of my personal mentors who give so much to grow others. Special Mentorship Day Presentation
Additionally, the one and only Brett Shavers, will be delivering an intriguing presentation, A Fresh Perspective on a Digital Forensics Career.
Brett is an incredible examiner who has worked in both Law Enforcement and the private sector, written digital forensics books, and gives back to the DFIR community, via DFIR.Training. I am lucky to collaborate with him on DFIR Review and his knowledge from his decades of experience in the field is sure to be invaluable for anyone looking to further their career in digital forensics or incident response.
