A Drastic Shift in the Training Environment

During 2020, the Magnet Forensics Training Team saw that we would no longer be able to conduct in-person training events but didn’t want that to stop us from sharing our experience and knowledge with the community. While we already were adept at delivering virtual training, new bandwidth constraints from more people trying to attend virtually caused several issues. Rather than watch our training “die by a thousand cuts” the team jumped into action devising new ones to provide a better customer experience.

One of the things that was done was pivoting to an entirely new virtual providing host. This transition not only made it easier for students to receive class materials, it also made our classes more flexible in scale. New techniques were adopted in the classroom to make the virtual classes feel more comfortable, interactive, and friendly, instead of just starting at a screen for eight hours a day.

Consistently Delivering the Most Up-To-Date Curriculum Possible

We also made sure to consistently deliver the most up-to-date curriculum possible with the ever-changing landscape of our own products. The Training Team was also able to deliver several new and completely rebuilt courses during this time including our AX302 Advanced iOS Examinations and AX300 Advanced Mobile Examinations courses.

In addition to delivering more of our regular virtual training, the team accelerated plans to help deliver more to those who couldn’t attend our training classes. The Training Team delivered multiple free online training “Tips & Tricks” sessions across the world in a variety of different time zones. We also helped deliver in multiple labs and lectures for the MVS 2020 and MVS 2021 events!

We’re Always Striving for Our Customers

Your willingness to try something possibly new and jump into virtual learning, saw us expand and try new things to support you. That’s why we are so incredibly honored that our customers have nominated us for the Forensic 4:cast award for DFIR Degree Program or Training Class of the Year (remember to get in your votes before July 22!)

From the entire team here at Magnet Forensics and especially from our Training Team, we want to thank you again for your vote of confidence and nomination, but also thank you for sticking with us! We recently started to roll out in-person training events and we can’t wait to see you in the near future.
