Multi-source digital evidence: A hit-and-run case study
This is a review of RPD case 23-3367, a hit-and-run causing death, where a vehicle struck a bicyclist causing his death. The vehicle and driver’s phone were recovered a few hours after the accident, but the case stalled because the driver refused to talk to officers. The case was stalled until vehicle forensics with Berla and mobile forensics with Magnet Graykey and Axiom uncovered data that led to a conviction.
