Magnet Forensics achieves major milestone in FedRAMP authorization with In Process status, advancing secure cloud collaboration for U.S. federal digital investigations
FedRAMP Marketplace listing reflects active agency authorization path for Magnet Review, a part of the Magnet One platform, in a government-only cloud environment.
ATLANTA, GA — May 7, 2026 — Magnet Forensics, a global leader in investigative intelligence solutions, announced today that it has achieved Agency Authorization In Process status in the Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP®) Marketplace for Magnet Review, its cloud-based real-time evidence sharing and collaborative review solution within the Magnet One platform. This achievement marks a major step forward in the company’s path to FedRAMP authorization at the High impact level — positioning Magnet Forensics to provide solutions that operate at the highest level of federal security classification for unclassified systems.
The milestone reflects Magnet Forensics’ continued investment in delivering secure, cloud-based investigative workflows for federal teams — helping agencies modernize digital investigations with strong security controls, governance, and oversight aligned to federal expectations.
Within the FedRAMP program lifecycle, the In Process Marketplace listing indicates that Magnet Forensics, as a cloud service provider, is actively working with a federal authorizing agency toward authorization. With inclusion in the Marketplace, federal agencies can leverage existing security documentation from Magnet Forensics to accelerate their own authorization process. Upon achieving authorization, Magnet Review, as part of the Magnet One platform, will be eligible to process unclassified federal information, supporting secure cloud-based hosting, sharing, and review of digital evidence, and enabling real-time collaboration across investigations.
“FedRAMP authorization will build on our long-term commitment to the federal community — delivering secure, compliant platforms and tools that federal investigative teams can trust,” said Sean Price, Chief Revenue Officer, Magnet Forensics. “This progress reflects the rigor we’ve put into security-first design and our focus on helping agencies collaborate effectively while protecting sensitive investigative data.”
Magnet Review and the Magnet One platform are delivered as a SaaS offering in a multi-tenant, government-only cloud computing environment, designed to help public sector teams collaborate on digital evidence in ways that reduce friction and support mission outcomes.
After recently successfully completing an Information Security Registered Assessors Program (IRAP) assessment for Magnet Review in Australia, Magnet Forensics’ FedRAMP progress in the United States underscores the company’s ongoing investment in meeting rigorous government security requirements across regions as agencies modernize digital investigations in the cloud.
