Magnet Forensics is a proud partner and supporter of the Child Rescue Coalition (CRC). The CRC is “a nonprofit organization that rescues children from sexual abuse by building technology for law enforcement, free of charge, to track, arrest, and prosecute child predators.” Sadly, the number of criminals involved in this type of illegal behavior increases every year. However, nonprofit organizations like the CRC are making an impact.
- 3140+ children have been rescued from sexual exploitation and abuse by law enforcement using their technology
- 13,650+ arrests have been made across the globe
- 680,000+ instances of child abuse have been prevented
The technology that the CRC provides is designed to help law enforcement triage child sexual abuse material (CSAM) cases to focus on the most persistent offenders. CRC Technology looks for images that have been reported to law enforcement and flagged as depicting children under the age of 12. Law enforcement can use the tool to crack down on an illegal industry and stop the stream of horrific, illegal images and videos. While using CRC technology, officers can also use geo-location features to search for offenders viewing and distributing unlawful material by country, state, city, or county.
How Do I Report A Tip?
The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) has specific programs that can intake tips directly from individuals. Tips can be made by calling 1-800-THE-LOST (843-5678) or through their CyberTipline.
How Can I Support The Child Rescue Coalition?

- Make an impact with a donation to the CRC
- Join the Coalition Club
- Assemble care packages
- Purchase something from the CRC merch store – all profits go toward the Protection of Innocence through Technology
You can find other additional options for giving and supporting the CRC here.
If you’re a member of law enforcement and you are interested in getting access to the Child Protection System from the CRC, the nonprofit recommends sworn investigators contact them at firstname.lastname@example.org to set up training with a course instructor.
