Magnet AXIOM Cyber 6.7: Streamlining Your Collection and Review of Email Evidence
We are thrilled to announce the release of AXIOM Cyber 6.7, this release adds and expands on features that will help streamline your collection and review of email evidence, including:
- Bi-directional Tagging in Email Explorer
- Pre-processing options for Microsoft Outlook Acquisitions

Bi-directional Tagging in Email Explorer
In our last release we introduced a new option to automatically tag attachments when tagging emails in Email Explorer. In AXIOM Cyber 6.7 we are adding the option to also automatically tag emails when an attachment is tagged. You can now more efficiently tag evidence and capture the full context of the communication–saving you from the tedious and time-consuming task of manually linking and tagging both attachments and emails.
We have also included some usability enhancements with this update to allow you to filter emails based on the size of attachments to quickly locate emails that may contain pertinent information for your investigation.

Pre-processing for Microsoft Outlook Acquisitions
As one of the most commonly acquired cloud sources, we have streamlined the administrative permissions workflow for Microsoft 365 and Outlook to consolidate the data available for user permissions into one area.
You can now also target specific folders, subfolders, and keyword lists when acquiring cloud Outlook inboxes in AXIOM Cyber. These pre-processing options allow you to manage the volume of data being acquired as well as restrict the collection to specific folders or criteria for the custodian(s).
Combined with the search and filtering capabilities of Email Explorer, AXIOM Cyber has a range of options and features to help manage the review of extensive email evidence and to surface case relevant evidence quickly and efficiently.
