From tip to action: Managing NCMEC cyber tips at scale
Alison began her career as a software developer in Northern Ireland, contributing to the modernisation of the National Health Service’s IT infrastructure. She later transitioned to law enforcement, joining the Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI), where she specialised in cybercrime investigations. As a Digital Forensics Examiner and later a Detective Sergeant, she led a large team of forensic examiners, tackling complex cases involving cyber threats, digital evidence analysis, and criminal investigations. Alison joined Magnet Forensics in 2023 as a Professional Services Consultant, before transitioning in late 2025 to the Solutions Consultant team.
