Present virtually or in person in Austin, TX
Magnet Virtual Summit will be taking place February 8-11, 2027, and will feature industry experts exploring the latest trends and challenges in digital investigations while drawing upon their varied backgrounds and experience. This is an incredible opportunity to share useful tips with seasoned practitioners and beginners alike.
We’ll also be in Austin from March 8-10, 2027, for Magnet User Summit. If you’re looking to present in person and network with industry and Magnet Forensics experts, be sure to select this option in your application.
Each year we see a wide variety of topics presented, so submit anything you feel would be of value to anyone in digital investigations. Here are some ideas to get started.
Ideas of what the share
Current research
Have you come across a new data that required some digging? Share your findings and how you got more info!
Local trends and challenges
Maybe it’s a region-specific app, or a unique way a threat actor has attempted to gain access. What are some unique challenges you’ve faced and how did you overcome them?
Workflows and results
We want to hear about the processes, divisions of labor, and tools you use to get results back to investigators faster, improve the quality of results you provide, or track cases more easily.
Case studies
Share a story about how you overcame a frustrating process, a tricky device, or some hidden data. Let us know what you did to get through it and what others could do to avoid the situation in the future.
Need some help getting the ideas flowing? Check out some suggested topics below. If you’ve got a different topic in mind, please feel free to submit it!
Most of the sessions from last year’s Magnet Virtual Summit are available on demand here. Visit the library to see what was presented in case you want to build off existing research, avoid duplication, or even see if they spark a new idea.
